As we started visiting more schools & youth centers – we wanted to create something to give the kids that included things like; how to communicate music, the exhilaration of chasing your dreams, expressing yourself & being a strong, caring human being.
This is how Guitar Magic was born.
Our first official program for kids in kindergarten through 3rd grade.
The Birth of Guitar Magic
With the help of two of my best friends, Nick and Justin Giordano, and my girlfriend, Jessi Rose, we created a music chord and coloring book. Each note is taught with a positive virtue and a cool animal, introducing the kids to both music and important life lessons.
The Guitar Magic Chord and Coloring Book
The Guitar Magic Chord and Coloring Book is designed to engage young minds through interactive and creative activities. Each chord is paired with a virtue and a corresponding animal character, making learning both fun and meaningful. The book includes:
- Coloring Activities: Each page features an animal character that children can color, reinforcing the virtue associated with the chord.
- Chord Diagrams: Simple and easy-to-follow diagrams help kids learn how to play each chord.
- Virtue Lessons: Short lessons explain the importance of each virtue, encouraging children to embody these positive traits in their daily lives.
Meet the Guitar Magic Characters
- Attitude Alligator: A positive alligator who shows how a great attitude can change everything.
- Bravery Bear: A courageous bear who encourages you to face your fears head-on.
- Compassionate Cow: Our sweet farm animal who teaches you how to love fully.
- Discipline Duck: A focused duck who emphasizes the importance of hard work and persistence.
- Equality Elephant: A wise elephant who reminds everyone that all individuals are equal and deserve respect.
- Friendship Frog: A friendly frog who highlights the joys and importance of true friendship.
- Gratitude Gorilla: A thankful gorilla who inspires you to appreciate the good things in life.
These characters embody the virtues we aim to instill in the children, making learning both fun and meaningful.
Highlights of the Guitar Magic Program for kids ages 5-9:
Through Guitar Magic, we’ve observed remarkable transformations in children. Here are some key highlights and impacts of our program:
- Boosting Confidence: Children who participate in Guitar Magic gain confidence in their abilities, both musically and personally. The positive reinforcement from our character virtues helps them believe in themselves.
- Enhancing Creativity: By learning to play guitar and write music, kids discover new ways to express their creativity. This not only enhances their musical skills but also fosters innovative thinking.
- Building Social Skills: The collaborative nature of Guitar Magic encourages kids to work together, share ideas, and develop strong social bonds. This helps them build important interpersonal skills that are essential for their future.
- Providing Emotional Outlet: Music serves as a powerful emotional outlet for children. Through Guitar Magic, they learn to channel their emotions into their music, helping them cope with challenges and develop emotional resilience.

Future Plans for Guitar Magic
We are committed to expanding the reach of Guitar Magic and continuing to innovate in music education for young children. Future plans include:
- Developing More Educational Materials: Creating additional books and resources that build on the Guitar Magic curriculum.
- Expanding to More Schools: Reaching more schools and youth centers across the country to share the benefits of Guitar Magic.
- Training More Instructors: Training more educators to deliver the Guitar Magic program, ensuring that the program can be offered to more children.
