Annual Fundraiser: Where Your Support Goes

October 6, 2025

Every year, Life by Music comes together with friends, supporters, and music lovers for our Annual Fundraiser. It’s always an incredible night of performances, community, and generosity, but what matters most is what happens after the event.

Thanks to your support, each year we’ve raised an average of $20,000, over the past 4 years of fundraiser events. That funding has gone directly toward instruments, classes, and resources that keep music education alive and accessible.

Instrument Donations

One of the clearest outcomes of your support is putting guitars and other instruments directly into people’s hands.

  • Over the years, we’ve been able to purchase guitars, ukuleles, and other instruments for hundreds of students and veterans.
  • In 2024, we donated over 260 instruments.

Each instrument represents a new opportunity for someone to start their musical journey. These are more than just tools. They become vehicles for self-expression, healing, and connection.

Expanding Access to Classes

Fundraiser dollars also help us grow our educational programs. From beginner guitar workshops, like our Rockin Guitar program for teens, to songwriting classes, like our Shoulder to Shoulder program for Veterans, every contribution ensures more people can experience the joy of learning music.

  • Last year alone, donations supported 18 group sessions for Shoulder to Shoulder, Rockin’ Guitar, and Guitar/Ukulele Magic.
  • Since 2016, we’ve reached over 1,570 students through the generosity of our sponsors and partners..

The Ripple Effect of Your Support

Every dollar raised at the fundraiser stretches far beyond the night of the event. Your contributions help us:

  • Provide instruments and other music resources to music programs that are lacking funding.
  • Expand classes to reach new students
  • Create inclusive community gatherings
  • Keep music education accessible year after year

Looking Ahead

As we prepare for the next Annual Fundraiser (scheduled for Spring 2026, details announced soon), we’re excited to build on this momentum. Together, we can ensure music continues to inspire, heal, and connect for years to come.
